5-9 The Faith God Has in Us

I've heard something like this towards the end of Assassin's Creed, but it didn't really hit me until this message.  So, I'm not really gonna get off track and describe the game or the events leading to the similar line.  But the gist of it was:  even if a character such as Altair ibn La-Ahad may not have believed in God, God does and still has faith in his type.  Granted the game was a work of fiction based on historic events, but to me, the message is still clear.  Basically, God still has faith in us no matter how often we fail.

David is another example, even Adam was no exception.  We all may have read of how often David failed, but God didn't give up on him.  Once again, same went for Adam.  He was charged with the great responsibility of being the caretaker of Eden.

I can go on forever about all this, but this also reminds me of NOOMA's Lump.  For those without an idea of NOOMA, it's a series of short 10-15 min. videos with Rob Bell going over some key life issues.  The message was "There's never gonna be anything we'll ever do that will make God love us less."  It's just another example of his infinite love in us.  Similar to my "3-1-09" post, without faith, pleasing God is impossible.  A short post it may be, but I just wanted to cut back on some filler a little bit.
